About the Author - Steven Schwartz
Steven Schwartz is a long-time fan of silly stories, poems, songs, and movies. He has many wonderful early memories of learning to read Dr. Seuss books like Hop on Pop, Green Eggs and Ham, and his all-time favorite Fox in Socks. He enjoys the heartwarming and whimsical stories of Shel Silverstein. Steven was also influenced early on by listening to the comedy radio show of Dr. Demento which included tunes and parodies by "Weird Al" Yankovich and others. Another personal favorite is Mason Williams' album Them Poems. Steven likes silly movies such as Monty Python's The Holy Grail, Airplane!, Young Frankenstein, etc.
Steven Schwartz comes from a family of punsters, including Grandpa Henry Schwartz who wrote thousands of wonderful poems over his lifetime and Uncle Alan Schwartz who would make up hilarious stories full of puns -- if you gave him the punchline first.
Steven Schwartz lives in Vero Beach Florida with his wife, two sons, and a daughter.
